PP (polypropylene) is a general-purpose resin that falls into the category of the lightest practical resins, with a specific gravity of 0.91. It is extremely resistant to acids and alkalis and hardly absorbs water, making it widely used in chemical tanks, plating lines, and parts for food machinery.
